A very classy wedding reception...  Elvis fans are always the BEST!   Of course the bride gets a scarf!   The dance floor was ROCKIN'!   By request, Art wore the 1973 Aloha from Hawaii red white and blue eagle jumpsuit...   Elvis fans come in all sizes, ages...   Art congratulates Jason and his lovely bride!   Art hopes his new road crew won't cause any child labor issues..!   

 

July 23, 2010     HealthEast Passport, City Passport, & Alumni Program Picnic     Bathesda, St. Paul, MN

A beautiful summer afternoon with "Elvis" and about 500 awesome fans!   In a word, it was...  HOT!   Nancy the dancer and Warren the spoon man join Art for a tune!   Warren rocks with his gold plated spoons - and "Elvis!"   The amazing St. Paul faction of "Rock-a-Hula" dancers!   Many scarves, lei's and songs for a terrific Hawaiian themed event!   Art was HOT today - while the audience had it made in the shade!

 

June 26, 2010              Stoney Creek RV Resort           Osseo, Wisconsin

The "Fringe" jump-suit - and Art - get a work-out on a beautiful summer day at Stoney Creek AV Resort in Osseo, Wisconsin!   Great tunes for great fans!   Art performed songs from the 1950's through the '70's!   Elvis fans come in all ages and sizes!   Art does them all: Ballads, movie tunes, message songs, covers, gospel... and even rock-n-roll!   What a TERRIFIC audience: Elvis fans are the BEST!    "Are You Lonesome Tonight?"   A couple of very special young fans even made portraits of "Elvis" and presented them to Art!  Are they the cutest little ladies you ever saw, or what?!  

 

June 15, 2010            University of Minnesota           Minneapolis, MN

A lovely summer day - and "CC Ryder" on the Northrop Mall outdoor stage!   Finally a break from the daily rain... so Art sings "Kentucky Rain!"  Go figure.    "Are YOU Lonesome Tonight?"   The entire plaza became Art's stage...    Kicking out the tunes!   "An American Trilogy" as always, dedicated to our Veterans...   Wrapping things up USA style!

 

June 4, 2010              Jackson Speedway            Jackson, MN

Art visits the early arrivals in the bleachers...    HIGH FIVES FOR "ELVIS!"   Yes, Art actually performed from the stage a few times!   The 1973 Aloha Eagle jump-suit was looking good on this beautiful (AND HOT!) summer day!   Art changes into his Speedway shirt to go up and sing "The Star Spangled Banner" before the races!      Art shows up for the meet-and-greet in the rad red Pinwheel and Stone jump-suit...    ... and Art waits for the throngs of fans prior to finding out that the day's activities had been called due to rain... HA!  Talk about "ALL DRESSED UP AND NO PLACE TO GO!"  What a RUSH watching these babies speed around the track: you gotta go to Jackson Speedway and check 'em out!

 

May 21, 22, 2010           Art performed for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Event          Fort Lauderdale, FL

Art does a teaser-"Elvis" sighting at Lighthouse Cove with the live band!  You never know what might happen at fantastic Light House Cove!  Art's "Fringe" suit was looking good - even without his "spare hair!"  P-A-R-T-Y!!  Art, a.k.a. "Elvis" hangs out at the registration table before the start of the event...   Art mugs with Lifetime TV's videographer!   Jean, dressed in an outfit better suited to the Florida weather, helps Art get ready to rock-n-roll.    Art poses with Kristy Villa from the "Balancing Act" on on the Lifetime Television, along with family and friends!  In the spirit of Elvis's generosity Art kicks out some terrific tunes.  Coincidentally, the 1973 Aloha from Hawaii Concert which was also a cancer research fund raiser.  "An American Trilogy" dedicated to all cancer survivors and our Veterans...   Kelly Hilterbrick (left) was the event co-chair!  The night show photos were a challenge but Warren did a fine job - THANKS!

Art performs for a WILD audience!  A quick dance with a fun-loving lady!  Mugging for photos with one young lady - among an audience of four generations in attendance!  Classic songs for a classy crowd!  Art accompanies a wandering rock-n-roller toward her front row seat!  A serious Elvis fan gets one of Art's coveted scarf!  Art hugs another child of our Lord...  Don't let appearances fool you: this was one PARTYING group!

 

April 24, 2010       The Midwest USA Cruising with the King Team presents an Elvis era show:  "A Striking Tribute to the King!" at Stars and Strikes Entertainment Center,  Wyoming, MN

The Cruising with the King Team starts out with Elvis hits from the 1950's!  Art sings "Doin' the Best I Can" form the movie GI Blues!  Elvis's Grammy Award winning rendition of "How Great Thou Art" started the gospel music segment...  Left to right Steve, Tommy and Art team up to sing "Swing Down Chariot!"  Following the 1950's, US Army and movie years came the '68 Special!  Art starts out the Elvis concert years in the Peacock jump-suit...   Who let the camera crew back there..?!  Art got to sing for his Mom who was in the audience: "That's All Right, Mama!"  Steve and Art team up to perform a special harmonized version of "In the Ghetto."  Art visits the audience and one grandma receives a lei during "Hawaiian Wedding Song!"  Art continues the jump-suit concert era in the Aloha from Hawaii suit!  Art loves the song, "Suspicious Minds!"  Steve, Tommy and Art wrap up the evening with a rare encore - "VIVA LAS VEGAS," baby!  Shortly after that we ALL left the building... 

 

February 27, 2010           St. Bridget's Parish School 2010 Gala Viva Las Vegas theme!          River Falls, WI

"Viva Las Vegas" in River Falls!   Art on the St. Bridget's stage!   "Are You Lonesome Tonight" --- NOPE!   One again, "An American Trilogy" dedicated to the Veterans!   This was truly a terrific, amazing, generous and supporting audience at St. Bridget's!

 

February 13, 2010       Valentines Day Show at  Blueberry Pines Golf Club   Menahga, MN

You ain't nothin' but a Hound Dog!  So many songs, only so many scarves!  Shall we dance?!  "Are You Lonesome Tonight?"  Art knocks "Suspicious Minds" out of the park - ELVIS STYLE!  Art poses for photos with some very special folks from the audience!  Art poses with the awesome Blueberry Pines crew - who couldn't keep their hands off him (poor guy)!!!  More GREAT Elvis (and Art) fans posing for pics!   Art gets a standing ovation performing his his signature version of "An American Trilogy" dedicated as always to Veterans past, present and in-the-making: God bless our Veterans!

 

January 23 - 31, 2010        Cruising with the King  on Royal Caribbean's spectacular Independence of the Seas!      This 8 Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise departed from Fort Lauderdale, FL 

The Welcome Aboard Show with art in the "GI Blues Era!"   Brad, Art and Daylin teamed up to rock the high seas!   Art's Peacock jump-suit helped set the mood...  Art interviews for the Morning Show with Cruise Director Joff to spead word about "Cruising with the King!"  Celebrating the birthday of the King of Rock-n-Roll with a TERRIFIC audience!  The wonderful Rock-a-Hula Dancers!!  Many scarves, many songs...  Art performs his signature version of "An American Trilogy."  Left-to-right: Daylin James, Art Kistler and Brad Boice!   In the spirit of Elvis, while in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the ETA's performed a benefit show to raise money for the earthquake relief in Haiti thanks to Senor Frogs!   At Senor Frogs we raised $1,300 for the Haiti earthquake relief fund!  Back on the Independence of the Seas and now in the huge Alhambra showroom, the guys performed another benefit show for Haiti earthquake relief and it was S-R-O, baby!!  Art performs Suspicious Minds in the Big Room!  Art gets a standing ovation for "An American Trilogy" dedicated to veterans and heroes who give to help others all over the world...  Art, Daylin, "Elvis number four: JOFF, and Brad sang "Blue Suede Shoes" together on the Big Stage!  While Daylin headed off to change costumes for his next show, Cruise Director Joff, Jean, Brad and Art mugged for the paparazzi after peforming in the beautiful Alhambra Theater!  Art sings during the gospel show...  Art autographs CD's after the gospel show...  Art poses in his "If I Can Dream" suit on formal night next to the teddy-bear driver and rider in a real Morgan automobile parked on the promenade!  Art contemplates the teddy bears for sale in one of the many shops onboard!  WOW!  The TERRIFIC "Temptations" Tribute Group invited the Elvises onstage for photos during their show!  Art, Brad and Daylin volunteered to be the "celebrity judges" for the Karaoke Idol finals!  Royal Caribbean International's magnificent "Independence of the Seas" at the port in St. Thomas. 

 

January 9, 2010      7th Annual "Elvis Birthday Bash"   Dales Weston Lanes Banquet and Show Room     Weston, WI

Art at sound check with the fantastic Come-back Special Band   Art sings to a full house in the Sunburst jumpsuit...   Five ETA's had fun wowing a sell-out crowd at Dale's Weston Lanes in Weston, Wisconsin!   Giving 100% for an awesome audience!    Art sings some great Elvis tunes to the best audience in he world: ELVIS FANS!    Set number two calls for the 1973 Aloha from Hawaii Eagle jumpsuit...   HAPPY 75th BIRTHDAY TO ELVIS!    Art and the Come-Back special band ROCKS the HOUSE!    The ETA's line up (left to right) Gino, Fred, hostess and event creator Dianna, Irv, Dakota and Art!    Art poses with Elvis fans... Where's Jean?  She's taking the picture!    A REALLY GOOD cake even featured the event's ETA's!

November 12 - 16, 2009  "The Elvis Cruise"  Tampa, FL to Cozumel, Mexico

Art dons the Speedway shirt for Elvis Cruise embarkation!  Like many other cuisers, Jean decorated our cabin door with an Elvis theme!  Art and Jean's ship board photo on BLUE SUEDE Night!  Jean poses with some of Elvis's movie leading ladies Chris Noel, Celeste Yarnall and Cynthia Pepper!  Art performs on Open Mic Night!  Art gets to sing "How Great Thou Art" on the Carnival Inspiration!   Art and Jean on Viva Las Vegas GLITZ night!  Carnival's "Inspiration" at Cozumel  Art sings a few tunes during Blue Hawaii night!  Art sings to Beth from Norfolk - with celebrity Ronnie McDowell!  Jean and Art mug with Ronnie McDowell!!!   Art poses with fellow ETA Sterling Riggs from the Norfolk, VA area  Art poses with Elvis co-star Chris Noel by the Atrium Stage!  Art poses with Elvis Blue Hawaii co-star Darlene Tompkins!  Art performs hits from GI Blues on the Atrium Stage during open-mic time!

October 17, 2009        1950's theme Fund Raiser for "Give the Kids the World"     Stillwater, MN

Art puts on the gold suit jacket - a 1950's outfit for this themed fund raiser... and hoping th old knees will hold up!  Art finds a BIRTHDAY GIRL!  "Elvis" cruises the dance floor...   Art poses with Colleen - the coordinator for this very important fund raiser!  Guess who's coming to dinner?!  Art jumps on stage to do some tunes with The Cruisers!  Art and The Cruisers rock the house!

 

October 3, 2009     Sock Hop and Concert - Fund Raiser for the West Central Area Education Foundation     Barrett, MN

Art as "ELVIS!" - shmoozes the ladies with songs and scarves!  The first set features Art's hybrid Pinwheel and Stone "Burning Love" jump-suit!  Terrific Elvis music for a fantastic audience!  The dance floor started filling up early - and these folks know how to shake a leg!  Art gives away a scarf and scores a dance!  Set number two, a new outfit, and the dance floor is packed again!  "Are You Lonesome Tonight?"  Another ballad, and of course another scarf!  The Aloha Eagle cape comes out once again for "An American Trilogy" dedicated to the Veterans...  "Thank you, thank you very much!"

 

September 19, 2009      Fund Raiser Concert for "SOS"      Oakdale, MN

There were the equivalent of four generations digging the Elvis tunes!  An entire dance line full of Elvis fans came for the show!  Art finds a comfy lap for break #1!   No furniture is safe when Art's rockin' the house!  "An American Trilogy" dedicated to the Veterans and all of our USA Troops!

August 15, 2009     Celebrating Heritage Days 25th Anniversary, St. Paul Park, MN

Art is ready for the parade - with many thanks to the Otts for providing such a cool car and driver!  Art poses with some lovely royalty attending St. Paul Park Heritage Days!   A great crowd of Elvis fans enjoy some terrific music on a beautiful summer afternoon!  The dance floor was OPEN!  90 minutes of the King of Rock and Roll's best known tunes - a fun time was had by all - especially Art!  And to top it all off - it was Rosie's birthday, too!!

 

August 8, 2009       Art's "Come Back Special" at the Inshalla Country Club, Tomahawk, WI (with a very special, "Thank you, thank-you-very-much!" to "Colonel T" Productions, Penny, and the Chi-Town fan club chapter!)

Art and Jean prep for the show...    Art poses with the Tomahawk queen!   Art was honored to sing a song and pray before a FABULOUS dinner at Inshalla!   Art shmoozing with her highness who is also a very sweet lady) Queen Delores!   and on with the main event!   Art and his new Peacock suit get a work-out...     HEY - it's Sharon's birthday!    ... and a special anniversary for Jan and Don - 50 years!!    Songs and more songs...    Jean and Art sing "The Lady Loves Me" from Viva Las Vegas!   Art rocks Inshalla!     Art's full light show totally ROCKS!    The second set had more great Elvis music!    93 years old and still a PARTY ANIMAL!    Art stays in shape so he can do this stuff... ouch..!   "Sarge" (the photographer) and "Chaps" the spotlight operator - and really great friends!  Semper Fi, Ricardo!   One COOL shirt!    Thank you, thank you very much!

Art serenades John..?     This was one PARTYING crowd!     "Elvis" rocks the house!    Songs and scarves, Hound Dogs and Teddy Bears... and a LOT of FUN!   OK, Art finally sings to the Bride to Be!

 

July 25 & 26, 2009     Mall of America Concert of Kings and Gospel Sunday Brunch, Mall of America and Airport Marriott,  Bloomington, MN

Art helps emcee at Mall of America!  Art debuts his new Peacock jump suit!  A great crowd came to hear great Elvis music for a great cause!  What a rush - performing at the world's most famous mall!  Art heats things up during his  second set!  Rockin' and rollin' at the Mall of America!  Another song, another scarf!  Steve and Art do a unique duet!  Five Elvis Tribute Artists performed for the Mall of America fund raiser in Bloomington, MN - for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.  art sings in a casual Gospel Sunday breakfast at the Airport Marriott right near the Mall of America...  Art's Mama came to the Gospel Sunday Breakfast!  Art hangs out with grandson Brady during Brady's first shopping trip to the Mall of America!  Brady wonders if "Grampa Elvis" forgot his follicle enhancement..!

 

July 4, 2009      Father Hennepin Bluff Park "Red, White and BOOM!"  Independence Day Celebration,  Minneapolis, MN

The 4th of July: waht says "AMERICA" more than ELVIS!?  Art ROCKS the park "Elvis" style for an audience of thousands!  Hey kid - gimme that Teddy Bear! Just kidding; Art was actually giving them away!  Art and Jean's 3-week-old Grandson "Brady" at his very first "Elvis" Concert... Mugging for the camera, Brady was quoted as saying "Thankya, thankya-very-much!"  The park became Art's stage...   Grandbaby Brady cops a quick snooze during "Teddy Bear" - and most of the other songs, too!  Jean works sound while Art works the crowd.  Note Jean's police protection (they had to keep her in line SOMEHOW!)!  A beautiful summer 4th of July night, terrific music an awesome (and very LARGE) crowd!    Right before the spectacular fireworks display, Art dedicates "An American Trilogy" to our American Veterans and Troupes overseas.
